Jake Morrison
Jake got into engine sims the honest way: too many late nights in a real garage, wondering what a built V8 would sound like through different exhausts. When phone apps started synthesizing engine notes instead of playing recordings, he started testing them the way he tests parts, on the bench, with his ears.
For this site, Jake installs every build of the app on real test phones, revs through all 28 engines, and checks the claims in each guide against what the app actually does. If a guide says a fix works, it is because he did it with his own hands.
How Jake tests
Each build is scanned, installed fresh, and run on two different Android phones, one mid-range and one budget. Sound checks happen on the phone speaker and on a Bluetooth speaker, because an engine sim lives or dies by how it sounds in the real world. Only builds that pass all of it get the download button.
