Engine Sim Has No Sound? 7 Fixes That Work
No sound in Engine Sim? The 7 fixes that solve it, in order: volume, Bluetooth, permissions, cache, and reinstall.

On this page
Fix 1: Check the MEDIA volume
The classic. Android has separate volumes for calls, ringtones, and media, and the app uses media volume. Press a volume button while the app is open and drag the media slider up. Half of all "no sound" reports end right here.
Fix 2: Disconnect Bluetooth
If your phone is connected to earbuds, a watch, or a car stereo, the engine note may be playing somewhere you cannot hear it. Disconnect Bluetooth or check the connected device's volume. Want it on the big speaker instead? The Bluetooth setup guide covers that properly.
Fix 3: Grant storage permission
Engine Sim APK reads its sound data from storage. If you denied the permission at first launch, the app can sit silent. Go to Settings, Apps, Engine Sim, Permissions, and allow storage/files access, then restart the app.
Fix 4: Kill Do Not Disturb and silent mode
Some phones route app audio oddly under Do Not Disturb or with the mute switch engaged. Turn DND off and confirm the phone is not in silent mode.
Fix 5: Clear the app cache
Settings, Apps, Engine Sim, Storage, Clear cache. This fixes corrupted audio state without touching your engine picks. Do not clear data unless you want a full reset.
Fix 6: Restart the phone
Boring, effective. Audio driver glitches survive app restarts but rarely survive a reboot.
Fix 7: Reinstall the XAPK
If nothing above works, the install itself may be damaged. Reinstall from the official download page following the install guide. Fresh file, fresh install, sound back.
